Create solutions kits

What are solution kits? 

Solution kits are products that consist of several products that allow you to create ready solutions by combining different products in one kit. They can include connectivity, plans, hardware, gateways, and application.  

To help you create your kit, we designed a predefined template accessible from your seller account. Please use follow the instructions below:  

 

Step 1 – Create a new product 

  1. Login to your seller portal: https://market.thingpark.com/seller-portal 

  1. Navigate to Product Manager and open the Product Type dropdown and click Integrated Solution (Prepaid) and click on Add New Product with options 

 

 

Step 2 – Fill in the product information  

  1. Refer to Section B to fill the required product information fields 

  1. Apply our predefined templates to the fields Feature HighlightsShort Descriptionand Description  

 

 

 

 

  1. Replace the content and add your own images. Here are some tips:  

  1. The short description will appear at the top of the page. Note that this section is important for SEO, so do not forget to include the keywords in your content. 

  1. The key Feature Highlights section summarizes what will be included in your kit. Fill the box with all your kit components. 

  1. In the Description field, we recommend adding detailed information about the brands and expertise of each component. Do not forget to add logos (300*70 pixels).

Step 3 – Set up “Custom Options” 

Custom options will allow you to propose many options or components to your solution (using the same or additional pricing) However, this field does not provide inventory management, which means that the selection will be decreased from the same stock. 

To Create your Custom Option, go to the bottom of your product page and click on Add New Option 

 

 

Select the type of field that you want to add, to propose components we recommend picking from the Select list  

 

*To make the field a required entry, select the Required checkbox 

 

 

 

Once your selection is done, you will need to add a name to your list and add as many rows as you need

Step 4- Set up “Configurations” 

If you want to track in your inventory the components selected by buyers, we recommend using Configurations instead of Custom Options. Thus, each configuration created will generate a new product with its own stock. It can be used to managed ISM bands, size, color, etc 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To Create configurations, please access Add Product Options section from your product page. Pick the attribute for which you want to propose variants (ex: ISM Band), select the values that you want to propose, and click on Add Option 

 

 

 

 

Add the Unit Price and Weight.  

*Make sure that you set the Product Option to Enabled 

 

 

 

 

*P.S: Remember that each “configuration” corresponds to an independent product with its own stock, price (and image).  

 

 

 

Once your Parent Product or Configurable Product is saved, you will seone new product per variant in your Product catalog. In case you need to modify them after saving the “parent”, you can directly modify the content of each product page as usual.  

 

You are now ready to create your own solution kit!
